Your photos

Your photos are processed in your browser, on your own device. Cropping, the photo checks and creating the download all happen there.

Your photos and the finished passport photo are not sent to our servers, and we don't keep a copy. They are cleared from the app when you start over, reload or close the page. The file you download is saved only where you choose to save it.

Camera

If you choose ‘Take a photo’, your browser asks for permission to use your camera. The camera is used only on the page, to show the preview and take the photo. Nothing from it is recorded or sent anywhere. You can turn off camera access in your browser settings at any time.

Usage statistics

We use a web analytics service to count visits and see how people move through the app, for example how many start, adjust and download a photo. Each record contains the page, the time, the referring website, your approximate location (country, region and city), and your device type, operating system and browser.

For some steps we also record a few details, such as whether the photo came from the camera or your gallery, or how many faces were found. These records never include your photo, face data, file names or anything you type.

This does not use cookies. Visits are told apart using a value generated from your request, which is discarded after 24 hours, and the statistics we see are combined, not linked to you.

Cookies and storage

SGPassLah doesn't set cookies or save anything in your browser's storage. Your browser may cache the site's files, such as the photo-checking models, so the site loads faster next time. These files contain no information about you.

If you email us

We use your email address and message only to reply to you, and keep them only as long as we need to for that.

Changes to this policy

If we change how SGPassLah handles information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
